An intentional and collaborative session designed to capture your family’s unique style. I view my work not merely as a documentation service, but as art created in collaboration with you. My goal is to create imagery that reflects the story of your family, both the one you wish to tell and the one in front of me. We’ll start by discussing your needs, desires and vision for your family photographs. Based upon that I’ll come up with a mood board, and some ideas for images to jump start the creative dialogue.

The shoot itself will be a mix of intentional portraits and candid moments as they naturally unfold. I will provide gentle direction and guidance to give us the best chance of success, while also pausing and waiting for the magical moment. It’s a delicate balance.

• 3 rolls of 35mm film (suggested two color and one b&w)

• Collaborative planning phone call, Pinterest mood board, styling input and scene prep.

• Around 1.5-2 hours of shooting time

• Edited images delivered to a private online gallery 2-3 weeks post shoot

• I don’t have an image min or maximum, nor do I hold images hostage for an up charge. I’ll deliver all your images to you (except the total duds).

• I plan to shoot all film, however I do bring my digital as a back up. I do my best to ensure that film will be possible (by being aware of the light situation) and will only use digital sparingly if I feel the moment calls for it.

• This shoot can be rescheduled for unideal light situations, such as overcast weather. Creating top quality images is so important to me- and that means I am willing to wait for the right light if we’re planning to shoot with natural light.
